Finding Projects on the Internet

You can find projects on the internet through e-mail or the World Wide Web. To use e-mail to find projects you must subscribe to listservs . You can use the World Wide Web to find projects through these three methods: search the web for project topics, go directly to a project by using its address e.g. http://www.kidlink.org or browse the www.

Shop around and you will find postings called "Call for Collaboration". These will give you the pertient information concerning the project; grade level, type of project, skills or enrichment covered, beginning and ending dates, and how to register. Projects usually are one of five types; correspondence or keypals, information gathering, competitions, writing, or online conferencing.
